Solution against rising fuel

Transport and new transport: energy, pollution, engine innovations, concept car, hybrid vehicles, prototypes, pollution control, emission standards, tax. not individual transport modes: transport, organization, carsharing or carpooling. Transport without or with less oil.

Hello,
Here, it is the export that refines almost everything, people have even specialized in buying for export Africa.
Finding a "good occasion" is now almost a quest for the grail (in Brussels)
For my part, I had an old nissan 2l turbo diesel, I managed to resell it € 1200, it was 248.000 km and 14 years old
Then I had a 1.6 injection which I finished, scrapped.
Then a 1400 injection, sold at 176.000 km for 300 €

For export, now you NEED the power steering, otherwise they don't want it.

And now I have a little nissan micra K11 1999 that drives too well!

This is not because we always said that it is impossible that we should not try :)

Voila bibi is what I think ...
And it is precisely because the second-hand market refines everything that the manufacturers make offers "interesting"

another problem with corporate vehicles :D

I had fun watching during my last trip ... hard to say if people drop their feet, but it seems certain that the company vehicles no .... it was towards the end of the day overtaken by several small vans of companies stupidly above the authorized speed ... in town the only car that I saw squealing the tires at a fire had publicity ... the trucks obviously do not care about fuel savings ...
obviously as they do not pay the fuel do not care to save it ...
of course this is just a personal impression ...

Yep it proves one thing: when the driver doesn't pay he doesn't care ...

solution against rising fuels

Hello,

+1 with georges100

I realize this every day for a very long time, that company vehicles, no matter the size of the vehicles, this does not care a lot about energy savings.

last saturday, i even got overtaken by a semi-trailer truck 42 tonnes, on the highway between thionville and luxembourg, i drove quietly at 125kmh, so estimate the speed of the truck to see how it exceeded me, i would say 150kmh, with beautiful black smoke that came out of its two vertical exhaust pipes, vehicles registered in Holland.

and then there are some who slow down the consumption of their vehicles ????? or the rise in the price of oil ????????

Well say so, a truck at 150, given the aerodynamics, it must be impressive consumption!

Like what it is not yet expensive enough? :P

fueling

by tigrou_838 » 09/06/08, 14:51

uh yes not quite expensive yet, i think the driver was very eager to cross the border and fill up on luxembourg where diesel is much cheaper than in france.

and as he said above, to see what he was getting out of his exhaust pipes, his foot was very heavy.

: Evil: : Evil: : Evil: tigrou

ps: not to mention the safety, it is almost every day that there are accidents with trucks on this stretch of highway.

when I pull my caravan I have time to admire the trucks; since they regularly overtake me ....
the amazing thing is that on straight national roads with well-rounded relief they do not lose speed in the climbs ... it smokes a little well but at the top are always at 90 ..... I could do the same but by dropping the reports and owning the towers ... but I will lose the time saved to refuel : Cheesy:
