As you know, until Monday, French deputies are passing a law on GMOs. This law is not ordinary: it is decisive for the future of agriculture and the environment in France.

By claiming to organize the coexistence between cultures, the bill currently under discussion does nothing but legalize the genetic contamination of agricultural production. The choice of GMO-free is denied. The project indeed foresees that GMO-free may contain a little GMO while very many doubts remain as to their harmlessness.

Given the nature of GMOs, their uncontrollable dissemination, the coexistence of cultures is impossible: the freedom to produce with and without condemns the freedom to produce and consume without GMOs that the majority of French people demand.
