In 2002 in France, 9.513 deaths would be attributable to exposure in urban areas to fine particles from human activities (industries, cars, heating ...), this is one of the information present in two separate reports on the health impact of air pollution that the French environmental health security agency (AFSSE) has just published after eight months of studies.
