In addition to what Christophe said, I would add that trying to grow a field of GMOs without chemical inputs from petroleum would be wasted time.
These "plants" are very demanding in terms of the environment and we must constantly "correct" it to adapt it to the plant ... it was too simple and not sales enough to let the plant adapt to its environment : Evil:
