Hello everyone,
I installed a 2th hot balloon on a 100 L house expansion, I installed another small electric board, for this room.
the 1er balloon 300 L of the house is plugged directly into the EDF meter in C1 and C2 to enjoy off-peak hours.
for the 2nd balloon, I would like to know if we can take some "juice" on this wire by making a junction box and domino and take it directly to my small electrical panel of my enlargement,
to put a contactor day / night on the board?
what disjonteur, amperage? for a ball of 100 L
16 A or 20 A?
merci de votre aide
see you soon
to connect an 2e hot water tank on the 1er ??

Hello Narita,
With references in liters, we can not do anything.
You have to give us powers, in watt.
(There must be a plaque on your boilers, which indicates this power)
An 16 amp socket, can support 3500 watt in theory..but it is better to work below this value for safety.
So, you have to add the powers of your two boilers, and see also, your current arrival in amps.
Dominoes, it's never extra, I already saw a domino melt because the boiler consumed a lot of power.
Nothing like a good power outlet.
If you have doubts say it, and give us the power of your boilers, and the current of your fuse that feeds this circuit
A+

thank you for your help justemilieu
in fact I would like to connect my hot water tank directly to the new board, in my enlargement
what exactly does it need as a circuit breaker to take advantage of off-peak hours?
this is the one I have
this is this one ..
http://www.leroymerlin.fr/mpng2-fron...ille-render=on
technical sheet
Width (cm): 50.5
Height (cm): 91.5
Depth (cm): 52.9
Power (kilowatts): 1.2
Material of resisance: Anode titanium, no corrosion.
Heating time: 5h30
Connection: 20 x 27
Required accessory: Security group. Tripod recommended.
Supplied accessories: Dielectric connection
thanks again

For 1.2 kW you can put an 16 A without problem ...
By cons, not being an electrician, I do not know what is allowed (so secure it goes usually pair) at the level of deviations especially when it comes to power ...
ps: the link does not work.

Hello
P = 1200w
P = u * I so I = P / U
1200 / 230 = 5.2A
So 16A for the breaker is clear that it goes. But the limit is even a little strong if the cable is undersized.
If your big ball 300L 3x plus, it is 3600w is 4800w in total with the small balloon.
If you plug both into the same power supply, you need a 25A circuit breaker and 4mm² cable to be quiet.
Also be sure that your contactor accepts 25A.
Go see this site is well explained for sections of cables.
http://www.techniquesduson.com/cableselec.html
If you put another separate power supply, it is enough that you connect your balloon on a programmable socket and that you regulate it during the hollow hours of your city.
23h-6h for example.
1200w good programmable sockets accept up to 16A therefore double the power.
P = 1200w
P = u * I so I = P / U
1200 / 230 = 5.2A

As a reference site for electricity, there is also www.volta-electricite.info
