In the living room, I'm thinking of putting a layer of insulation on the existing placo.

Placo glued, and I don't want to remove it.

It's 40+10, so what to wear?

An air gap, a thin insulator, and replaco on top?

Or I reraille, puts an insulation of 45 + BA13 on top?

There is only one wall to redo, 6.5m long by 3.2m high, less a 2.4m window by a good 2m high, so in fact, not a lot of "material to put in, and moreover, it is a "south" wall.

On the other hand, another room to redo, abandoned, about 25 m2, but only 2 walls to be made in insulation, we will say 2 walls 5m long, by 3.2 high.

It's bare brick, currently, a 35 or 45 cm wall, I don't know.
On the other hand, I would not like to take too much thickness, because big molding, and do not want to hide too much, being able to stay on the thickness of the rail in 45 plus BA13 would be a plus, but want to isolate a max.

What you should know is what would be the optimal thickness of an air gap with what you plan to do.

And also make sure to put an elastic coating on the edge, to guarantee a good seal...

In the end you are going to make a 'wild' insulation? : Cheesy:

Considering the price of placo, why not an ITE...?
