I don't expect more...
It does a little more: transistor tester and sophisticated electronic components, PMW generator https://fr.manuals.plus/fnds/dso-tc2-os ... _parameter.

It is becoming more democratic, I had a 2 X 120 Mhz with function generator for 90 https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005004696526847.html

Seeing the shape of the signals and the voltage/current phase shift is no longer a problem, despite everything to obtain True RMS power, the high-end functions are missing https://www.chauvin-arnoux.com/sites/de ... ce_ed1.pdf

Thank you Izentrop for this document.
It is clear that the cos phi only applies to purely inductive circuits, with electronic devices it is more accurate to speak of power factor.
For the oscillator, I have one that has been lying around in the attic for fifteen years, I hadn't managed to get it to work... (when I take it out I'll come and ask you for help : Wink: )
I would be curious to see the intensity signal of the PFS which consumes a whopping 33VA for a power of 0.5W!
If it is it only takes one polarity, which could explain the confusion of the sinometer, which works without a shunt?

One question: what is the maximum frequency generated by electronic devices? and what is the sampling frequency of electronic meters?

More exactly to purely sinusoidal signals.
On the oscilloscope, the phase shift between current and voltage, caused by a reactive power, can be inductive or capacitive, or a combination of both.
The RMS power is only valid for pure sinusoidal.

I also have an old Hameg oscillator in the attic that I wouldn't attempt to repair. A simple digital trace oscilloscope, you can find it cheap https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005004291798680.html

Yes I know it does more but the basic plotting functions are enough for me.

Yes on Ali, I was talking about Amazon Prime prices (x2 to x3 Ali with warranty and speed of delivery)...in short, yes it is becoming very affordable!
