Haven't opened the box yet.
It's supposed to improve the fp, but it does the opposite, it brings it back to 0.00... for the Chinese meter.

For the pm231 it also lowers it, because of the 140mA it consumes with an fp of 0.01, the measured values ​​remain logical.
With 0.5W of additional consumption!

I will still do other measurements. In my opinion it's just a Chinese device designed to hack Chinese meters...

It's weird the reaction of this power meter. What does it give to the oscillo?
Can you show us the inside of the box?

I have an 18 VA transformer which shows 4.4 W/fp = 0,42 on the energy meter. A 40 µF capacitor plugged into another outlet doesn't change that at all.
