Rising Electricity Prices - Who Will Earn More?

by ojal » 02/01/23, 18:28

Hello,
We see that market prices for electricity are soaring. We are talking about prices making x5 or x10 compared to the so-called regulated price.
How can this be explained in France when we are not only producers but also exporters of electricity?
The more the market prices increase, the more our electricity export balance should be important and our national electricity cost decrease?
In the specific case of manufacturers who have no state aid and who pay their electricity at least 5 times more expensive than previously, where does the money paid by these manufacturers go? Is it EDF which is enriched?
Who can give us a precise point of the situation?
Thank you in advance :)

well, these are the intermediaries of course...

all the contract soup merchants, big and small corporations authorized by the chief sluts who set up ARENH.

the excessive tertiarization, where paper scrapers virtually buy and resell kWh that they have never produced, which have never put a kopek in the distribution network, with the feat of ruining both the producer and the kWh consumer.

It is the energy producers who arm themselves with dough.
If EDF had had all its functional reactors, EDF would have made a monstrous buck in this period.
It's the principle of merit order, with this money they are supposed to invest even more in low cost energies.
Wind farms and solar power plants outside guaranteed redemption also made a lot of money during this period.
Moreover the ENR which are in guaranteed redemption tries to blow up the ceilings to recover this dough of sick, which is not correct from the point of view of the taxpayer. Either we are protected by the status of guaranteed purchase price and then when the market price exceeds the guaranteed price, the difference is returned to the taxpayer. But no, some would like the cream and the back of the cream

If I understand what you are saying, EDF is going to make a turnover at least multiplied by 3 or 4 next year and post an exceptional result? Yet the stock market does not seem to follow this trend?

The stock market must integrate that EDF is now a nationalized box and at the mercy of political decisions, such as the reconstruction of the power station.
big investment and financial benefits in 25 years.
On the wet finger, the future privatization of EDF will take place in 30 years, when there will be money to recover.
Right now it's more of a money pit

It's been years that EDF no longer invests in the maintenance of nuclear power plants. Because not content with no longer building (apart from the lamentable EPRs), they have decided to close dozens of power stations.

Then they forced EDF to sell its energy at a loss to its competitors via a mechanism called ARENH.

ARENH forces EDF to sell electricity at a loss to its competitors. Electricity which will then be resold cheaply by its "competitors" in order to increase their market share (otherwise everyone remained at EDF).

Thanks WHO ? Thank you to the imbecile deputies who voted the law n°2010-1488 of December 7, 2010 at the National Assembly. Law presented to a certain Mr. François Fillon.
