Ultrasonic fuel economy

by elephant » 27/04/07, 10:22

Some companies market ultrasonic fuel savers, notably the ecobox and the SFI module.

code: Select all

http://www.tuningracingcars27.com/product_info.php?products_id=3305

does anyone have any echoes reliable on that kind of thing.

if so, does anyone have one? that we can connect an oscilloscope to the signal output to know the frequency and intensity and publish a substitution diagram, pcq 300 to 400 euros for a 555, a power transistor and a cell in US, it's really exaggerated: there are 25 euros for spare parts, Conrad price (ie 4 X more than industrial cost prices).

some even claim that this could increase the efficiency of oil heaters.

you all know me, I ask for proof, no more.

Ultra sounds are from 20 Khz

its adapter seems to be a coil to clip on the fuel hose, it even looks like anti-scale systems for cold water.

what does an ultra sound cell look like?

because to make a liquid "vibrate", the transmitter must bathe in this liquid.

you all know me, I ask for proof, no more.

NO NO :D

I think I saw a guy somewhere who heard the thing whistle when he was open.

we find for 3-4 euros ultrasonic transducers which are piezoelectric pellets: it is not very difficult to make a mechanical coupling with a fuel inlet manifold
this delivers a nominal sound power of a good hundred dB in the air around 40-45 kHz

Oh ! I haven't said bad things about anyone yet! : Mrgreen:

in fact, on the contrary, I ask nothing better than to give positive echoes of a system .......

...... which works and whose invoiced price is in reasonable relation with its cost price!

pay 300 euros for a simple circuit or 150 euros for a magnet, no !!!!! : Evil:

when you know that a marvel of technology like a DVD player costs 39 euros!

And a perfection of technology like a DVD recorder, is at 27,90 €!
:D
An 80 GB hard drive, at 37 €, too, while there is in it for the same price, a neodymium magnet, which we can later use as an economizer ...

Look at this link .... there is something to scratch with Ultrasound:
http://www.sinaptec.fr/ultrasons/ultras ... luides.htm

If the link does not work I got it with the first response from Google
by typing 'ultrasonic viscosity'

Econologiquement yours.

Thank you for reminding me of the existence of this site which I had already consulted with interest.

the energy levels are largely easy to reach: 20 W / liters on an intake pipe a few millimeters in diameter.
