Here are the nozzles which diffuse a mist to 25μ (a hair is 4x more at 100 µ)

very good product provided you respect the pose. Contrary to all the reviews I've read, the misting is perfect, and the nozzles don't taste.
The system is positioned outdoors and is not removed at the end of the season. The pipe seems to age well without suffering the ravages of time. On the other hand, the bindings did not take the same path. Nothing serious, and I replaced all that with jumpers for 10mm cables, it works perfectly.
As I said, the misting is perfect (no humidity on the ground) but the downside is that in case of wind the misting cloud is completely dispersed and the system no longer fulfills its role. To be used either under cover or in calm weather!
Finally, it is imperative to soak the sprinklers in vinegar every year so that they maintain their efficiency. The reassembly can cause leaks at the level of the thread which have been solved by mounting the nozzle with sealing paste for tow (which plumbers use) but especially without the tow: we are in the miniature

Idea of a simple misting system, without expensive electrical equipment, since directly screwed to the tap:

Do-it-yourself with a pipe diameter that provides comfortable preservation of working pressure:

Provide yourself with threaded nozzles to mount on standard PVC pipes, all connected directly to a tap!
These pipes, to be assembled, only require the application of a primer + glue. There are loads of elbow fittings and such.

(like the sketch, you can mount a kit on a fan for the terrace or in the bedroom)

A few decades ago, I worked in a completely uninsulated hangar on the Montauban side, and whose everite roof was relatively low. In the summer it was scorchingly hot (between 35 and 40° certain days between June and August...).
It happened to the boss, aware of the problem, to spray the roof of said hangar with a garden hose for 15 or 30 minutes. The water coming down from the gutter was warm enough that you couldn't put your hands in it....
In fact under this roof, where we worked, the temperature difference was not very visible after watering, even it was counterproductive as the humidity made the air unbreathable at times. From time to time it ended in a pitched battle with the garden hose to refresh minds and bodies : Mrgreen:

I said that watering, I did not believe it (and you confirm the idea) but I have never tried permanent misting.
The price is cheap, even if hope is slim: and if it doesn't work, it can always refresh a patio, then...

Water evaporative cooling is very old and efficient:

Passive evaporative cooling techniques in buildings have been a feature of desert architecture for centuries, but Western acceptance, study, innovation, and commercial applications are all relatively recent. In 1974, William H. Goettl noticed how evaporative cooling technology works in arid climates, and speculated that a combination unit might be more efficient and invented the "High Efficiency Astro Air Piggyback System", a combination system evaporative refrigeration and air conditioning. In 1986, University of Arizona researchers W. Cunningham and T. Thompson constructed a passive evaporative cooling tower, and performance data from this experimental facility in Tucson, Arizona became the basis for guidelines for evaporative cooling tower designs developed by Baruch Givoni7.

It's also called a heat pump, right? :)
