Take a good look at the INED table and video.

The evolution of the population, for the moment, has little to do with global warming and it is rather in the countries where we suffer the most from it that women have the most children, because they are the less in control of their destiny.
yes thank you i know :). It's just for me that the "uninhabitable" regions are the regions.. well where there are no inhabitants.

I was reacting to
I don't have the impression that a majority of French people realize that we are making regions of the world already uninhabitable, when we are only +1.1°C from global warming.

what are the regions that have become "already uninhabitable" then?

if not, the scenarios with a continuous growth of fossils until 2100 are just tales to scare children, ask humus : Lol:

So you confirm once again your Holocaust denial of putting the IPCC scenarios and the predictions of Nostradamus on the same level.

I don't understand your answer, I'm telling you that fossil fuel growth scenarios until 2100 are very improbable, haven't you heard of peak oil and Meadows work? did you miss this thread?

why are you talking to me about Nostradamus?

Siberia. On an island, 7 giant bubbles of methane seem ready to explode
In 2016, on the island Bely, in Siberia, an impressive phenomenon was observed. Indeed, several bubbles composed of methane and carbon dioxide have formed on the ground of the island.
It turned out that the island was losing greenhouse gases at an alarming rate. In fact, the air escaping from the ground contained 100 times more methane and 25 times more carbon dioxide, by far the two most devastating greenhouse gases for the environment.

At that time, only 15 of these water-covered methane bubbles near the surface had been identified.

100 times more than what? than the natural concentration? (which is about 2 per MILLION for methane....)

once again we are throwing out figures to scare people but there is no quantitative quantification of the consequences, methane emissions from the polar regions are very small despite all the buzz about them, the main part comes from the tropical regions ( marshes, rice fields) where biogenesis is much more active.

The rice fields contributed to 7% of the emissions indeed

We have ways to act https://laconsciencedesetudiants.fr/202 ... si-propre/

But this is a retroactive effect of which we do not yet know all the consequences.
With regard to other causes of global warming, such as the combustion of fossil fuels or deforestation, its impact still seems marginal. But, if the thaw continues at this rate, a third powerful engine will be added to the others. "We are talking about a climate bomb, explains Florent Dominé, and the current projections of the IPCC models are likely to turn out to be very optimistic".

Much remains to be done to change mentalities and increase awareness. Especially since the phenomenon is more complex to study than it seems. "We regularly discover new processes, such as the role of vegetation", explains Florent Dominé. Warming promotes the appearance of shrubs that trap snow, increase its insulating power and prevent winter cooling of the ground, which will therefore warm up more quickly. They thus constitute a second positive feedback loop in favor of global warming, inside the first.

Vouais ça is the discourse of researchers who must justify their research "we don't know but if it happens it could be very serious", it is sure that it is the best discourse to have budgets.

I would like to have his own personal carbon footprint.

The study of permafrost also represents a real physical challenge. Each year, Florent Dominé makes at least 4 to 5 trips to these sometimes very isolated areas where permafrost is present in abundance.

But yes, I know, it's for a good cause, moreover they all say that, not only scientists, but the Hulots, Artus-Bertrand, and all the politicians who travel from climate summits to COPs.. . "do what I say, not what I do" .
