You're still bla-blating Izentrop, for more than 48 hours masks are no longer required in my area.

Take a break or do you want one?

As in many countries, what matters is that hospitals are no longer overwhelmed and that the economy resumes as before, forgetting to protect cases of long covid and fragile people, immunocompromised for different reasons. Also forgetting that a new more deadly variant may very well emerge again.

Knowing the degrees of protection of the different masks can be interesting if you have to visit a person at risk...

Elpais have made a well done infographic https://english.elpais.com/society/2022 ... aring.html

You continue to delude yourself, I'm afraid... Contrary to everything you have argued so far — if the states come out of the health crisis scheme, it is expressly because vaxchination is a bitter failure, since they no longer hesitate to use the word “OBSOLETE” — suddenly, there will be no more deadly variant (except creation in the lab) we are coming out of the crisis precisely because the variants are less deadly, and what you say then loses all its meaning. Statistical projections are also obsolete. (And their ditto PCR Test Tool). And Spain was the first to come out, so El Païs...

We have changed the paradigm.
The pharmas will come back to the charge in winter, but it will be for those who want it, I won't put my hand in the fire but there will be no more health passes (or only in France the only state in the world?) : roll:

For Professor Bruno Lina, it is advisable to continue to wear the mask "in certain situations even if it is not compulsory"

He is right but we are following the bad example of the Danes and the electoral deadlines seem to be of more interest than the BA2 wave

Why BUT?

You should have written "He's right AND we're following a bad example..."

I won't take off my FFP2 mask in a closed place, even if it means looking like a con...laughs well who laughs the last!

I note on the calendar for once that I agree with you on a covid subject : Lol:

Dyson presents headphones that purify the air under your nostrils

Called "Zone", Dyson's first headphones will be available in the coming months. It incorporates the brand's air purification technology, in a miniaturized version.

After being used to wearing a mask, will we switch to a world where headphones are equipped with visors? This is what the British company Dyson seems to think, which has just unveiled an unprecedented object: an audio headset, called "Zone", equipped with a visor to filter and purify the air that the user breathes. The product will be available at the end of the year for an as yet unknown price.

First, the Dyson Zone fulfills the now traditional functions of high-end headphones, with worked sound quality and a noise cancellation function, competing with headphones from Bose, Sony or Apple.
PROGRAMMATIC

But it incorporates an accessory that is original to say the least: a visor which is fixed in front of the mouth and nose, to filter "urban pollution, in particular gases, allergens and particles" according to the brand.

As shown in the image above, the air filtering takes place at the level of the headphones, which suck in the air to clean it and return it to the lower part of the user's face, directly on their mouth and under his nose.

On its site, Dyson makes no reference to Covid-19. And for good reason, the development of this helmet dates back several years, as evidenced by the first patent filed in 2018 and describing its operation.

The company does not hesitate to present the helmet as a "portable air purifier", echoing its previous products, to be placed this time in a living room or a bedroom.

“Unlike protective masks, it delivers a flow of fresh air without touching your face, thanks to high-performance filters and two miniaturized air pumps” specifies Jake Dyson, director of research and development of the company.

Some specialized journalists were able to test a first version of the Dyson Zone headphones, including those from The Verge site. According to the first feedback, the audio quality is there, despite a slight defect: the noise of the filtration system at ear level, which remains slightly audible. We will now have to wait a few months to find out if the general public is ready to invest in such a product.
