The average speed of cars in Paris is around 16 km / h!

It is 16km / h (sources?) because when the situation allows it, we can drive faster. <<< LOOOOOL !!!!

Well done mister Obvious!
Source?
Here:
According to calculations by the Paris Travel Observatory, the average speed of a car in the capital was 11,6 km / h in 2019 and 30,9 km / h on the ring road.

I'm not sure a diesel performs well at less than 2000 rpm.

In elec, who cares, it remains about the same performance.

My Dacia (1.5 DCI 86 Hp) has its maximum torque at 1750 rpm. Then yes. It picks up well at 1000 rpm in 3rd uphill, but I have a short gearbox too, that's okay.

Using the car under these conditions is a clear demonstration that people really need the car; except to take them for idiots (which the idiots often do).
