Tonight in front of the TV I explain to my son the difference between alcohol distillery and oil refinery ...

At one point I pronounce "petroleum distillery" ... and the iPad placed on the table, on but in standby ... since not in use ... begins to give the definition of petroleum out loud ... : Shock: : Shock: : Shock:

“Hey Siri” (equivalent of Ok Google) and “Distillery” are quite close ... ok but:

a) I had never set up Siri ... I never calibrated my voice ... and the TV was spinning behind ...

b) and this proves that listening is permanent even when you are not using the tablet ...

For Dupontel it was not Aloe Vera or knives but pétanque ...

Frankly, none of you noticed that ... it surprises me a lot!

They already have all the browsing / consultation history (which means that the ads are oriented, it can be deactivated if there is any disturbance).
It already seems more than enough to make money.
Go and retrieve information on the fly via the microphone (how to sort? : Shock:) after proposing other ads, it seems delicate to me and probably illegal.
Personally I never noticed.

So there you really fell the mask of the defender of lobbies ... : Mrgreen: : Shock:

Sorting is trivial: a voice analysis of keywords from the discussion! I don't know though if it works on Apple ...

But I'm sure SIRI is always listening ... since the other day, while watching TV, iPad on the standby table, I said "Petroleum Distillery" and my iPad understood "Hey Siri Petroleum" ... While I had never configured Siri or voice ...

Illegal you said? Mouahahhaha : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

For the rest, I finally ... read everything above and this: electricite-electronic-informatique / your-personal-info-on-social-networks-and-elsewhere-comparative-facebook-google-amazon-instagram-t16658.html

Ben the voice assistant option is active by default as for google. But that doesn't mean that they listen to all the conversations and then propose ads based on them (it seems really very complicated and risky to me when having the browsing / consultation history and the travel history may be more than enough.)

yes, it seems to me or so it is mentioned in the conditions of use.
