In my house, the eggplant is the most plant that reacts the best to a small splash of urine after implanting outside. They vegetate, do not move, are palotes ... And presto, a squirt, and it starts again!

The main thing is to aim well, especially not to touch the foliage. : Shock:

I try to avoid eggplants, a matter of taste ... Or disgust?

Urine is not toxic to plants - everyone has pissed on a meadow one day, even donkeys. Without lethal effect ...

Read on another thread ...

It makes me think ... the garden centers are already full of potato tubers, the sites say that they are already on the verge of running out ... and on the other hand you have to plant the pdt qd the lilacs bloom (like early April here).
I don't really want to buy my tubers so soon, but I would still like to have the varieties I want to plant this year ...
I'm still not going to germinate them for 10 weeks!
What do you and your side think about it when you get your tubers?

You put them in full light, so that the germs don't grow too long (and break when you put them in the ground) ... Whether it's hanging out in a garden center or store, or at home, that's great!

At home, I control the light and also the temperature. You have to play on these 2 parameters at the same time.

That is to say ... in the cool and in the light?

Yes, I forgot: in a cool place, but out of frost, to slow down growth ...

But with light, to avoid etiolation: in the cellars, the pdt make "spaghetti"!

cool yes and no, it all depends on when you find them, if it's now yes cool, but we in the North are not going to find any yet, we will have to wait until the end of February at the beginning of March, for a burial end of April beginning of May, so for me it's light and in the kitchen so 19-20 ° C a good month or even a month and a half

Interesting all of the sudden I will wait if possible mid February to get the pdt and leave in the garage (13 ° at the moment) until April.
I say if possible because if I have the impression that there will be no more what I want by then I will fish in this case it will wait at home.
This year I would like to plant
- Darling
- Bintje
- Samba

yes you have to take availability into account, but 13 ° C is not cool for me, you need less, there it will germinate and spin, and that the said garage has a beautiful natural light
