Re: My kitchen garden of the least effort
good root development of the sweet potato, we went from a long linear root to an arborescence and the buds on the tubers are starting to appear, it will start soon, as soon as there are leaves, it will immediately get better
what I hope is to have long stems this year so that I can make cuttings
deain I take the second sweet potato, another method, there I cut it in half lengthwise and I put in potting soil

You put it in the water, it seems to me ???
Watch out for the water-soil passage. Sometimes, these roots having grown in water do not support well ...

The 2nd method had disappointing results for me.
In any case, you need big pieces, not the small ones that you see on some videos.

the one in the water will stay there, I only hope that it will give me long stems, last year I had stems on it but they never exceeded 12cm so never could make cuttings i always hoped
there I will try to put another in potting soil to see the difference, at worst the one in the potting soil I could cut it and transplant the small ends of tubers in the ground, if it does not grow enough to form long stems for cuttings

I cut my potato today, let it dry to heal a little, and tomorrow I will put in potting soil, yes there I only cut a large sweet potato in half, no small ones

Do you think I should have put some pastis in it? I am speaking of course to the agronomist, that this does not lead to confusion
