There is a profusion of sites which give us more or less reliable information. Are their forecasts consistent with our findings and measurements?
Are paid sites better, closer to reality than those that are free?

Given the quality of some free (windguru in particular rather very reliable even in its freemium version) I don't think you have to pay ...

Personally, my MTO site consultations are 1 for the general weather and 2 for dinghy sailing (and it's not easy for small inland waterways)
after several years of various trials, 2 sites are, for me, above the rest: Windy and Ventusky
