It's not far from that! What are they aiming for (like tobacco companies and other drug sellers) that as soon as possible non-consumers become occasional, then regular consumers, finally addicts (this is the holy grail) Who knows that taxes on wine do not not even represent, 1%? while on food it is 5.5% and 2.1% on reimbursable drugs.
So if wine is not food! What is it then? : roll:

All alcoholic drinks are subject to a VAT of 20% plus contributions secu plus right to consumption you tell anything ...

I skipped on cash investigation and that's what they said: 0.8% wine tax ... it must be the security tax ??

The secu tax is 5.73 euro per liter of pure alcohol ... So on a liter of wine at 12 about 60 ct excluding VAT, these are the fixed taxes per liter ... So in percentage .... C'c t is very variable ... Between a bottle of Castelvin and one of Château Petrus ...

As he says so well about the others ... Go to trash ...

It is an alcoholic TIC (ex TIPP) fixed what :D

So on the Beer (not Belgian : Cheesy: ) it's about 25 to 30 cents per L ...

The report concerned only that ... the VAT had been zapped by Elyse Lucet!
