THE LIVING MARKET
Departure from the South of France (Bugarach, Aude) in early February 2007, arrived in Paris in May between the two rounds of the presidential elections. Throughout the Méridienne Verte, our caravan will meet the inhabitants of the cities and villages crossed, offering speaking circles, documentaries, conferences, exhibitions ... The emphasis will be placed particularly on the live performance as tools of expression.
The March of the Living is a collective creation, a popular movement free from any political or religious organization, therefore no banners or labels, but individuals carrying the message of the living, that is to say everything that can contribute improving living conditions (environment, health, education, non-violent communication, etc.).
This event is an opportunity to relay information and reflections by creating a huge forum open to all in which the experiences of those who adopt a respectful and harmonious lifestyle towards others and the environment will be highlighted. Indeed the alternatives are not utopian; there are many researchers, pioneers, artists and other citizens already largely involved in this reality. Even more numerous are those who wonder, ask to know, to understand, who would like to live differently without however marginalizing themselves ... The goal is not to leave society but to transform it from the inside, it is urgent and necessary to meet us and share together and with the widest possible audience, our know-how and interpersonal skills.
Let us take advantage of this electoral period when attention is focused on current issues, to consolidate and affirm our choices. The more we show ourselves, the more our approach, optimistic and concrete, will be understood by the whole, and will be united.
