randomly choosing those who order it can make you laugh ... but the hazard gives an average result which can be less worse than the current system which only lets power approach the most corrupt!

the fighter's journey to obtain an electoral result is so long that even those who had good intentions at the start forgot them when he was elected

we should be inspired by juries convened in court cases ...

"anonymous" citizens recruited from a list where the probity of people is proven.

And that the system is sufficiently random and rare so that the individual does not "professionalize" and not weave a network which sooner or later would become mercantile, political, or lobbyist.

For each topic (medicine, energy, justice ...) its commission as independent as ephemeral, as competent as disinterested: in the interest of the general interest

And goodbye to the incompetent professionals of influence games ... Right now, BFM TV is in the process of shelling the various businesses of the moment ... Tapie, Bettencourt, Nice, and all the political clique that revolves around ...

In the Athenian system cited by Etienne Chouard I believe that there was a certain selection: free men because there were slaves, not to have been condemned, to take good care of his family ...
It is true that if we take a fairly large panel like 500 people the equivalent of our deputies it will be representative of the population. Generally wealthy Athenians refused the charge because they had better things to do.
It's true that Chouard's videos are interesting, but you have to watch them all to understand the system.
This system has worked for 300 years in Athens.
This is what we call democracy, we are representative democracy and what a representative!

Of course, in the panel where we would draw lots, we would have to select valid people beforehand ...

But I think there are many worthy people who would agree to sit from time to time, the same principle as the siege jurors

Do you have the references of a good person probimeter certified Cofrac or LNE? : Mrgreen:

Of course, this kind of instrument, if it exists, should not be used much in the different electoral campaigns / political parties ..... : Mrgreen:

I understand your irony ...

But even if you do not have a probimeter precise enough for your taste, it is the oligarchic and lobbyist system that is imposed with the most absolute disregard of the general interest. *

If no system is perfect, it is better to choose something less bad than the worst.

* I just read that the Prime Minister has just authorized MOX on the Centrale du Blayais ... Remember that the Blayais is floodable and near Bordeaux. A few years ago, the Blayais passed a hair's length from the Fukushima script. And MOX is the worst nuclear fuel, same without operating accident. So let's follow the advice of the 1st Claim ...
