Recover electromagnetic fields under THT

Recover electromagnetic fields under THT

by Colmant » 28/11/06, 18:33

good here I am surrounded (overhung) by lines of RTE (network of transport of energy) of edf: 2x 400 kv and 4x 63 kv on great lengths (650 ml)
I ask myself the question of knowing if there is a way to recover the energy of the electromagnetic fields and of course transform it into current
thanks for the electro who have ideas

You would have to measure the field under the lines (I think about the system and keep you posted)
You can already take a neon tube and connect a part to the ground (earth) and brandish it in the air under the lines, it should light up.
Subsequently, a fairly large coil would capture the electromagnetic field of the wires.

Ouch! time to read diagonally : Cheesy:
Yes there is an idea, but I doubt that a wire of several hundred meters will do the trick.
And I think we can do without an ignition coil.
When I spoke of coil, it is a coil to pick up and not which would act as transformer (step-down) as seen on the diagram of the link that you indicated.

Do not die, it is not with this that you will operate your bath heater!

Rather than wanting to recover this energy, personally I will rather seek to protect myself from it ... or to move!

Maybe Tesla did that at the time ... : Cheesy:

Hello,
elektor magazine had published an electrosmog assembly some time ago which made it possible to detect electromagnetic fields (elektor from June 2005).

By the way Colmant, you have to be 10-20 meters away from the lines or it won't work.
Even if it does not make it possible to feed something, it has at least a didactic effect.

Now living 10 meters from a high voltage line means leukemia and company ...
I wouldn't take the risk : Shock:
