The international environment film festival takes place from 22 to 28 November.
Just by the title, you have what it is but I give you an excerpt from an interview with Jean Becker, director and passionate about the environment.


What is the use of this festival?

It is a laudable and necessary event because it contributes to a better awareness of environmental problems. Through free film screenings and the organization of debates, it gives the general public the opportunity to meet film professionals and specialists.

What do you think of the programming?

Eclectic, rich, varied, fascinating ... With 36 documentaries and 27 feature and short films, this festival offers a wide range of subjects capable of generating citizen reflection on the future of our planet.

Is there a film that stands out?

The choice will necessarily be difficult. However, the Spanish documentary 2050 How Soon Is Now? by Javier Silva and Ruth Chao on global warming made a big impression on me. I found it particularly educational. More explicit and less talkative than the film with Al Gore, An Inconvenient Truth.

How are you going to orchestrate the jury?

It is a jury made up of seven people. Comedians, a town planner geographer, a navigator, a journalist ... Everyone will see the films selected. Only half a day of collective deliberation is planned before the awards ceremony.
