In any case, there are so many ways to bypass a patent that there is no need to go on and on about this indefinitely.

Yes that's the theory ... in practice, I think there is very little chance that a Western SME can win a lawsuit (and at what human and financial cost?) In a country that can still be in many respects a dictatorship ... and even if it won against a company, the Chinese copy each other so much that it would be a waste!

It is quite a dictatorship where the "citizen" has only one right: that of shutting up.
