the problem is the salt, which is very harmful to culture ... in Brittany where it rains a lot, the salt is rinsed faster than in Corsica

you think that in corsica it rains little ,, it rains + that we can believe it and snow every year there are high mountains don one at 2700 M which explains why it rains + here ,,,
