This program enables the European Union to finance international or local projects focused on energy efficiency and / or the use of renewable energies. This is why the Eco n 'Home project is supported by France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Great Britain. Launched in January 2006, it aims to support more than 2000 candidate families across European countries engaged in a process of reducing their energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
In France, the project is monitored by the federation for local energy management agencies (FLAME *), which brings together 14 local agencies (ALE) supported by the Energy and Transport Directorate of the European Commission.
