We didn't understand each other.
I'm talking about where you insulated with cotton wool (that's I guess part of the ceiling on the ground floor).
Are the joists in contact with the outside?
If yes, thermal bridge
If these joists join the external insulation (of the walls) everything is ok.

I answered, you have to calculate the R. It all depends on the ceiling (ground floor) and the floor (floor). You will "lose" for example more if you have a pvc slatted ceiling than an old 30mm plaster ceiling.

Hello

In fact the joists are not positioned as on the diagram, but they do indeed come into contact with the outside by fixing themselves perpendicularly to a beam "surrounding the house".

we can see almost with this photo: http://ups.imagup.com/07/1266574723.jpg

So I think like you that it is a beautiful thermal bridge : Cheesy:

But it is not correctable apart from an ITE ... :|

Hello,
It is not the joists themselves that are the problem (since you have put some cotton wool)
I don't see what's underneath. Is it the ground floor ceiling? In the photo it looks like concrete ...

below, it's wood. Originally the floor was not fitted out.
Below these wooden planks, there is the false ceiling in ba13 on the ground floor

So the composition of your ground ceiling is:
-ba13
- "false" floor (thickness?)
-floors
-floor floor (thickness?)
-floor coating? (nature and thickness)

yes in fact you have almost everything good : Cheesy:

- ba13
- false floor of which I do not know the thickness but not very thick (maybe 10mm)
- joists
- agglo of 22
- carpet

There is really something strange, the part which cools faster increases in temperature faster too.

The part with roof lost but longer to heat, but after there is a greater inertia.

I think that the stairwell plays a role in the room which cools faster. But hey it's just a hypothesis

Hello moby25

I can read that you have the same problem as me with your passage of air coming from outside under your floor .... Opening at the end of joists.

How do you block this entry?

Can you tell me more?

Are you currently using the method you did, did you just clog with mineral wool?

No steam?
