False!!!!

Look at this pdf whose comparison is quite obvious:

I have a 70 watt sodium lighting installed on my garage and it wears away but to work in lighting from time to time on shows, I can tell you that commercial LEDs are much more powerful in light and above all realistic , sodium does not render green and blue very well, which gives an impression of weaker power.

A purely commercial document that has little scientific value ...

Have you tested it yourself? If yes which model exactly?

Joliet is it not they who also import rotten wind turbines?

You're right, thank you, I did not know about the existence of this type of multi-power lamps: I wanted to find a solution to replace my indirect anti-depression halogen winter lights :-)

But we still have to test and see the cooling problems ...

I still think, however, that the real opportunity for LEDs would be to change street lighting to "garlands" that would mark the edges of the streets and provide more lighting.

Hi Christopher!

We use this kind of LED projector in show:
http://www.objectifplus.eu/vente-materi ... 3-192.html

Look at the price and you're going to jump!

High performance LEDs exist but the prices are staggering, good news; it will soon be available to the general public.

A royal blue LED can give up to 220 lm / w

Bernard

It's commercial and not for the general public!

The price must be quite salty!

Yes indeed, € 830 for a 100W projector...

So what I was saying about street lighting was not that wrong. I should have completed with "does not exist at a comparable price" :-(

Hello everyone.

I will give you much more reliable (and much more complex) data than the ones I saw above;

Already I speak with full knowledge of the facts since I am a site manager in a construction company.

The lanterns installed in sodium are generally 50, 70 or 100W.

To replace them in LED, we need respectively 30, 40 or 65W in "color" 3000 ° K (supporting tests).

Knowing that: for example 50W can be reached with 24 LEDs at 700mA, with 32 LEDs at 500mA, with 48 LEDs at 350mA etc ...

And pay close attention to the lm / W data, you have to see the lm / W rendered and not the outgoing lm / W because a bulb sends "its" lm at 360 ° and the LEDs at 100% on the desired point.

readings of a 100W shp: 85 lm / W
65W LED readings: 130lm / W
(both for around 8500Lm

Hello,
65W LED readings: 130lm / W
Can we see the datascheet of these super efficient LEDs?
In general, the 220 V LED bulbs sold in stores are in the 70 to 90 lm / W range.
