Not fully understood why at 2:15 the liquid carbon dioxide returns to the solid state when the guy opens the test tube?

A liquid that loses pressure ... gasifies more than it solidifies ... right?

Ah yes just, it is the relaxation of the gas therefore temperature drop which makes it solidify :)
