Hi guys.
I don't understand my wood stove:
It is a Don Bar 1980, modified (the opaque doors have been replaced by a glass door. It has in fact been little used.
In my 3 previous houses, it worked properly. In the current one (where there is still 8 meters of chimney) it backs up from the ignition. It only works properly with the door closed, but then its heating rate is very high and it consumes too much wood.
Can you help me find the error?
(the chimney has been swept and it has only been used 5 or 6 times since)

Hello
I had a similar problem with a slow combustion stove at the start.
It was too tight house, it takes an air inlet from the outside to feed the stove what comes out through the chimney must arrive near the stove, to avoid a cold air path through the whole house.
When it is very cold -20 and the house is too tight, we see everywhere the air inlets it makes ice under the bottom of doors or window that do not close well, the stove puts the house in depression and the looks like he needs to go back where she can.
