no problem: the crushed leaves have no lignin

you can even grind the small branches that do not have a lot of lignin yet

it is also possible to have 2 WC: one with flush and dry, because anyway it is sometimes necessary to add water in the digester, as much profpt to use a little toilet flush rather than putting clean water directly into the methanizer

at home I use only rainwater, but with 2 cistern: one clean well closed for good quality water, and the other looks like an above ground pool for hunting of water and rough washing

I guess you're talking about the lignin / cellulose ratio of oak leaves?

Which must be quite cellulosic (behave rather like straw than like wood chips) ...

If I find something ...

Good evening,

I found 2 theses concerning the methanisation.
Rather long and very academic, but infos among others on
- inhibiting factors T °, PH, {Co2} etc
- the rates of "dilution" in water in the reactor
- the innoculum levels
- the reaction rates, and the limiting speed (hydrolysis)
etc etc
