Complementary Survey: a world without waste?

Aired last night: http://www.france2.fr/emissions/complem ... s/88795873 and watch again in Stream

Why does France fail to recycle efficiently? How to reduce the amount of garbage produced? Contents: Supertrash: In the hell of a landfill. - A couple, two children, zero waste. - TMB: Factories which disturb. Martin Esposito could no longer bear to see the Provençal hill of his childhood disfigured by a pile of garbage. Camera in hand, he dived into the Villeneuve Loubet landfill and brought back a shock document. Béa Johnson moved to the United States over 20 years ago. Recently, her family has taken on an incredible challenge every day: they no longer produce any waste. State-of-the-art reprocessing plants, dubbed TMB, for “Biological Mechanic Treatment” are supposed to sort the garbage and produce a compost sold to farmers. But behind the miracle solution, the reality is very different.

Coincidence? The SuperTrash movie will be released in a few days: https://www.econologie.com/forums/gestion-de ... 12767.html
