the crankshaft connecting rod system is not the weak point of the current engine ... replacing it with something more complicated does nothing
the progress that remains to be made is on the thermodynamic cycle: compression explosion dedente in the same piston is not enough
compression cooling compression explosion relaxation it is much better, and it already works on large engines!
