And if not for what to do yourself and recover the pipe used by the gas boiler?

it all depends on what is this smoke pipe: a wood boiler needs a big and solid pipe ... if the pipe is only suitable for the gas boiler it may not be good

in general I prefer to keep the old boiler in place, it can always help out

fashion is all stainless steel smoke ducts: it doesn't cost more to make an entirely new chimney than to use an old stainless steel tube

Bah to redo a fireplace you still have to break 2 concrete slabs :(
I'm not sure if it's cheaper

we don't know how is your house or where you can put the boiler

it is on that if it is under 2 stage that does not facilitate the passge of a new chimney

specify how is the current chimney made?

you can not connect 2 boilers on a single chimney ... but you can make an assembly to connect one boiler at a time and have the possibility to change

It's a shame I don't have a photo under the elbow.
So this is a traditional house with basement / ground floor / attic floor
the gas boiler is in the basement.

the chimney must be 30-40 cm wide I would say about 8 m high

In order to avoid the problem of the prevailing wind, you can't put an elbow and a few tens of cm of vertical pipe (or horizontal for that matter) on the outlet of a suction cup?
