must not hide the main problem: there are too many humans, that's all, and the destruction of natural environments

this notion of planetary overpopulation bothers me. I have the impression that this argument could justify the unjustifiable, genocidal war, weapon of mass destruction etc ... I prefer the following sentence:

1 billion humans living up to the standards of so-called rich countries

Yes we used science without conscience.

Faced with hunger riots, biofuels from agricultural food products pose a moral problem, said Friday the director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Dominique Strauss-Kahn.

He did not rule out a discontinuation of these products or a moratorium.

"When we make biofuel from non-food agricultural products, it's fine. But when it's from food products, there is still a real moral problem that arises," he said. microphone from Europe 1.

You have to "balance the two goals" of the planet's environmental problems and "the fact that people are going to starve," he said.

For Dominique Strauss-Kahn, "hydrogen engines are ahead of us and they are much more efficient" than agrofuels.

To the question: "are you in favor of a stop or a reflection leading to a moratorium on biofuels", he replied: "when they use food".

The continuation here

In the series, I really didn't understand anything, the Oscar goes back to DSK.
A moratorium on agrofuels "when they use food" ???
Within 2 years, whole hectares of wheat or corn will be replaced by oil palms or other non-food crops.
