Hello everyone,
My questions are all simple in appearance:
- How to calculate the energy equivalent of 1000 l of oil or a ton of pellets in Kw?
- From the estimate of the heating energy needs of the house, we apply a simple rule of three to evaluate the fuel consumption chosen?
- Where are the shortcuts naive in this hypothesis?
Thank you for your lighting.

Basically to answer your question DC: 1L of oil = 2 kg of pellets (of quality) since the PCi of the pellets oscillates between 4.5 and 5.2 kWh / kg ...
So if you consumed 2000L oil, you will need about 4 tons of pellets ...
