HY-KERS 2012, even Ferrari goes green ...

Transport and new transport: energy, pollution, engine innovations, concept car, hybrid vehicles, prototypes, pollution control, emission standards, tax. not individual transport modes: transport, organization, carsharing or carpooling. Transport without or with less oil.

Ferrari HY-KERS 2012 to discover here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HBPoGCVbBzY

Will we soon believe that a Ferrari is green?

I am also skeptical ...

Nice video, but the KERS elements seem quite small next to the V12 and the big gearbox.

It is impressive how hard the figures are to find ...

We still have this muddy graphic in the video:

Image

Let's say that the KERS is able to put 10% more torque as long as it has energy left.

KERS has been talked about for a long time in F1, and we don't see it happening. I have always had doubts about the benefit / disadvantage ratio for racing cars.

Where it would be really useful is on Mr. Dupont's car. it's more modestly called a Toyota Prius ... it's already developed :P

Ah ah ah yes I told myself the same thing ...

And worse after a few seconds of video we go from -30% of CO2 to -40% of CO2 ... : Cheesy:

You have to believe that Ferrari customers don't like the numbers ... : Mrgreen:

Or it is in Ferrari's policy to hide the figures from their customers (we will quickly understand why lol ...)

My first feeling; Ferrari seeks to make Com ', close to Greenwashing (color chosen for the CAD views of the video!)

Even if its KERS is at point (??), this vroum vroum of 500 Ch. With hydrocarbon will always be an energy heresy.

Of course it is Greenwashing ... but Luxury Greenwashing lol the 30% reduction in consumption is full pipo! It could roll in the water that would be heresy all the same.

The real question is: how much CO2 must be emitted to pay a Ferrari before it has even made its 1st km?
