Yep but it still works !! : Cheesy:

Back at the casa the fleet is at 63 ° C the gas had been cut for 3 weeks. I love solar ...

I note that in France we have not yet understood anything.
I did a little tour around Lisbon where I estimate that more than 50% of buildings, private and professional, have a solar water heater and 5% of photovoltaic panels (the wealthy).

In France 5% have photovoltaics and 1% have solar water heaters.
The 5% in France are scammed by unscrupulous salespeople and the media stuffing which makes them believe that photovoltaics is ecological and profitable.
In Portugal the majority of people have no money, so let's follow their example, they have invested in what works.

Perfectly exact, especially in France a lot of regions have a similar sun in Portugal !!!

It would also be necessary to store part of this excess summer heat underground to find it in winter, with a fairly simple technology as functional to www.dlsc.ca :
https://www.econologie.com/forums/chaleur-d- ... 10828.html

So, more CO2, neither nuclear, nor pollution in perpetuity, but convincing of this solution, seems very difficult, even in econology !!!

Here is a small comparison of gas consumption reports from 2008 to 2011.

The company

Comparison before / after solar water heater:

_ € 45,97 of gas from May to September 2009.

_ € 73,67 of gas from May to September 2010.

_ Installation and commissioning of the solar water heater in winter 2010/2011.

_ € 6,93 of gas from May to September 2011

_ € 5,77 of gas from May to September 2012

I am now thinking of switching my system to electric mode.

Little reminder :
My installation works with a 200 liter electric tank (resistances disconnected) used as a buffer on a DHW loop including a boiler with instant heating.
Currently it produces hot water only when the solar DHW is below 45 ° C and only when drawing hot water from taps.

I want to switch from gas water heater to electric water heater to gain comfort and especially because I noticed that the electric balloon in off-peak hours consumes only 10 € per month.
Or 120 € per year.
In gas if I extrapolate the summer consumption over 12 months excluding solar water heater that makes 288 €. : Cry:

I noticed this in January / February 2011 after a DHW bp on my boiler.

My solar water heater saves me 90% gas over the summer period.
So, from May to September the electric balloon should only consume 5 € out of the 50 it should consume without solar panels.
This represents € 75 per year in electricity instead of the € 180 of current gas.

I thus hope to make some small savings and at the same time gain in comfort in winter. Instant hot water with my DIY boiler is not great.

Other info to come back to the heating of the house I think of installing a reversible air conditioning Mitsu inverter within 1 year max.
I abandon the idea of changing the boiler with a heat pump.
Too expensive to buy and not profitable in consumption.
I made comparisons, a high temperature Daikin heat pump at 10.000 € costs as much in energy as my rotten gas boiler at 1800 €.

Comparison for a house identical in surface to mine 110m2 Daikin Atherma € 20.000 turnkey (commercial scam).
Annual EDF consumption € 1300. It's reasonable since it includes lighting, cooking, DHW and other but still too much for my taste.
In summer the house is not air conditioned.

I was wrong it is 90 € / year and not 180 €.

For once it simplifies the solar DHW circuit.
