Phytopurification design

by antoinet111 » 20/11/11, 14:56

Hello everyone, a quick question, I plan to create a phyto-purification station concerning part of the waste from my house.

namely, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a kitchen sink.
, I think to reject about 50 liters per day on this circuit.

today, this circuit goes through a lift pump which causes me a lot of concern and costs energy.

so I am looking for information on the size of the planted tanks and their volumes, I have a lot of trouble finding in the trade tanks of more than 115 liters (bin), except cow waterers which are 400l but which cost 150 €.

what could I use cheaply and in what volumes?

Goods.

Hello Antoine111.

In the cheap genre, you can take paneling, between 2.5 and 6 euros per square meter, in raw paneling.
I made it a planter with what I have left, and a few cleats.

Then adapt according to what you want to do exactly.

The cheapest per m3 are the various pools sold in summer, with sealing plastics, more reliable than the paneling but not perfect.

Outside, I see but in the water?
You want to make tubs, so they will be filled and planted.
When you talk about water if it's rain, it may not last 100 years.
Me he stayed outside last winter and he didn't file a complaint

to find larger than the trash there are the water recuperators, sold in DIY stores, garden center, agricultural cooperative: there are 300l and 500 liter

to make it bigger you have to dig a hole in the ground and put a tarp in pvc or epdm or polyethylene

Agree with you, me it is 6 m3 depreciated in the year but on the other hand I use it as a water collector.
By cons antoine111 speaks of 50 l / day, more if I understood correctly and that he filled it with gravel or other soil.

So I guess you need several,
I come back to the paneling if you do with feet, so that it is not directly on the ground and put them in stairs.
Otherwise the neighbor has an above-ground swimming pool of 17 m3, it has been outside for 5 or 6 winter, and they use it as a swimming pool.
By cons to recover the filtered water less obvious, from my point of view.
