Coupling boiler fuel oil

by arnolaet » 03/11/11, 12:23

Hello?
g need information on the installation of my boiler.
currently a fuel oil boiler, connect to a water radiator circuit.
There is a wood-fired boiler.
I would like to couple them, it means when more wood the fuel takes the resume. the fuel oil being upstairs I would like to put everything on the ground floor, so extend my smoke duct and my pipes to.
my output of wood boiler and 12.5 cm and the fuel idem (led smoke).
my current duct is 12.5 cm.
then I connect the wood and fuel on this fireplace.
if you do not have schemas of connections knowing that a cumulus electrique so no need of ecs.
thank you in advance

:D
good evening, actually 12.5 is not big enough.
Since I have another chimney but stopped at the 1 ere floor, g discovered a pipe at the bottom of my chimney that joins the rdc.
Can I connect my pipe from my boiler outlet to this pipe ?, knowing that it is about 15 cm. since my boiler I would put a pipe 12.5 cm 2 meters high.
that will make me 2 elbows avat to reach the floor, then make this connection?
thank you in advance

Conceivable, but close up and elbows are not recommended, ideal to accumulate soot and clog, even catch fire !!

Ask a pro to take responsibility for the installation !!

Plus having a CO detector !!

Difficult because of the lengths and the state of the chimneys, watertight or perforated, a few thousand euros.

At least have varied quotes and see the reactions and advice of the pros in situ!
