A public debate on transport in the Rhône valley and the Languedoc arc has just been launched in France in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, Rhône-Alpes and Languedoc-Roussillon regions.
Requested by the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Ecology and Sustainable Development, this public debate is organized and led by the National Commission for Public Debate, an independent administrative authority.
Its stake: "involve the population in the definition of a transport policy which reconciles freedom of movement and respect for the environment".
See the debate website http://www.debatpublic-transports-vral.org/debat/presentation.html
