You made the wrong smiley then! The irony is
Otherwise of course you have to put the organic into perspective, but personally I am more shocked by the organic fruit and vegetable imported under celophane (I never buy) than organic milk in tetrapak !!
Do not confuse biological and ecological! It doesn't necessarily go hand in hand ...
To come back to the large distribution and to show the efforts they make: recently there is the carbon equivalent on Casino products ... I have never seen it on an organic product (except organic casino product)!

Mea culpa!

And yet, in the brain of the consumer it is often synonymous (wrongly as you rightly mention).
Ditto as you pointed out between dietetics and organic, often put in the same shelves.
And I'm not even talking about fair trade, organic products ... but from deforestation (like certain palm oils!).
It is a real headache, it would be necessary to create a super label!

Right but we are there to re-educate the consumer

Yes big debate above on this subject on this subject: we can very well make organic fast food and it will not be good for health !! It will be just a bit less worse than the chemical!

About "fair trade" palm oil, you don't think so well, it just came out: https://www.econologie.com/forums/l-huile-de ... 10801.html
Then there is fair trade which begins to appear with us, given the difficulties that some farmers have ... it is "fourth world" fair trade ...

Non demeter is the label of biodynamics! Homeopathy of the earth (or it's quite "ultra advanced" but it seems to work!)
But it's not about fair trade ...

You do not seem to have read and looked at the figures in this study by walter Willett:
https://www.econologie.info/share/partag ... fgeSoT.pdf
So I put figures to have in the brain:
body index and risk of diabetes:
and sodas-sucrés and daibète:

No actually, not had time, well these 2 diagrams but a little difficult to read (even in .pdf and others are downright illegible!)!
Why does the ordinate scale of the 2nd diagram (relative risk) start at 0.0 and not at 1.0?
Ah maybe because the relative risk can decrease, see figure 27 with alcohol? (low quotes curve) ...
I did not understand anything in figure 26 !! What is quintile of folate? Is the relative risk "negative" in all cases? (= reduced risk?)

It's "ultra"

The AB label is powder in the eyes of the government. Before this label, the BIO was based on word of mouth concerning the honesty of producers and processors at the time when it took big ones like watermelons to face the State coalition, association for the defense of consumers like 50 million , who systematically demolished the BIO, supported in this by intensive agriculture and its unions.
Labels like demeter or nature and progress are the dinosaurs of labels which have far more value than that of States. For the anecdote Professor Belpomme, renowned cancerologist, recalled during a conference that our Chinese friends, specialists in counterfeiting, print labels with the AB label which end up in ......!
