Hot air distribution kit

by airsp » 12/12/10, 11:09

Hello,

I warm up with a wood stove.

Suddenly, I think seriously put a hot air distribution system.

Sampling near the stove, distribution in the rooms.

What products do you recommend?

In a practical way, I would reject the warm air through the ceiling.
Is it better to reject it on the ground?

Finally, what are the products of good quality (power consumption, noise ...)

Would taking a vmc engine suffice?

I saw these suppliers:
- Aeroval
- Double Fire

Are there perhaps more suitable products?
Thank you

The answer I gave you on the other subject you made:

Absolutely

Yes a VMC simple flow (50 €) would suffice but beware the price 1er are really noisy, so if you can not put it in an unmanned room, will take into account this fact.

Otherwise you can use 1 simple model big air exhaust fan (at least 125mm).

To begin, you can test with a fan foot fan that would blow on the stove ...

I have not looked at the products that you found but generally they are kits for insert / chimney. In your case a simple CMV would suffice ... you have to see what costs the least: the ready-made kit or the tailor-made

Any heating trade sells stoves and inserts with the possibility of circulating the hot air to the rooms and the living room with ducts and powerful circulator, usable without changing the stove by taking the hot air from the ceiling. Uncommon, but that will work well for you with the hot air stuck on the ceiling.

Me, I use with inserts and exchanger in the insert. We heat very fast.
An electric radiator blowing at 10 € used in fan mode alone without heating makes a good fan, especially placed near the ceiling blowing downit will be effective to standardize !!

I will see because the 350m3 / h distribution kit costs around 150 euros excluding insulated ducts.

Roughly: 200 euros.

For tailor-made, you already have 70 euros of VMC, stay:
- extraction and outlets (4 x 15) = 60 euros
- sheaths: 60 euros ...
[... / ...]

On the other hand, the CMVs have 4 extraction outlets and a rejection outlet
I would need the opposite, right?

Finally, I do not have the possibility of rejecting on the ground (too complicated).
Does rejection from the ceiling give good results?

Difficult to answer without knowing the exact configuration, it will necessarily be less good in terms of comfort than blowing from below.

When you say via the ceiling is it therefore a vertical blowing from top to bottom or else horizontally from 1 wall close to the ceiling?

I intended to make an exit by the ceiling, blowing high towards bottom.

Try with a strong € 10 ceiling fan down like I proposed to see if that is enough, before more complex and identify the problems without unnecessary expenses.
If the air is blown down from the ceiling with force it will work.

personally, I installed this circulation system. suction on the ceiling above the stove, I have a 125 mm suction socket with filter the fan is in the attic (55 w) for 3 outlets it is 350 m3 / h I back up by insulated flexible pipes (special hot air) and the outside air intake is preheated by a fan coil located between the intake and the fan. in this fan coil (recovery) circulates antifreeze liquid preheated by a coil placed in the chimney flue the air is thus between 15 and 25 ° in winter.
my apartment is thus in overpressure and I have almost no dust
for noise the hot air fan is 42 to 45 dbet I have no gene
but my installation is also coupled with solar heating ..; ...
