Journey to the Center of the Earth ? the nuclear tunneller ...

Transport and new transport: energy, pollution, engine innovations, concept car, hybrid vehicles, prototypes, pollution control, emission standards, tax. not individual transport modes: transport, organization, carsharing or carpooling. Transport without or with less oil.

in jule verne's journey to the center of the earth there was no futuristic machine: it was only super speleo ...

real speleologists have explored many holes but will never find any like jule verne

Yes, but it was astonishing that this was the only unrealized adventure, when the necessary technology was conceived 40 years ago.

Hi friends,

and why not a nuclear tuner which would directly manufacture the vacuum tube in the center of the earth ... : Idea:

that would shorten the distances. :P

But that's what it does: it melts the rock, and solidifies it around the circumference. An artificial lava tunnel ... of volvic; -?

There are huge caves underground and more to be discovered !!

but nuclear power is not enough to go underground, because it is necessary to cool and from about 20 to 100Km deep, the earth is liquid at ordinary pressure at hundreds of degrees and enormous untenable pressures, and therefore, at more than 10Km deep , this is the trip that will remain totally impossible for thousands of years to come, long after a trip to the nearby stars !!

This is what is said, but no one has very convincing evidence.

The most experienced are the Russians:

But they still haven't found Moho ...

On the other hand, they regularly find abiotic oil, and no longer dwell on the subject ;-)
