Could a stering motor be used in this competition?
By using the heat of the exhaust they could recover
energy by running a stiring motor. If the motor
still emits too much heat, it may be possible
store it in water or even fuel (less efficient
anyway).
If there is only one engine authorized, do everything with a stiring.
may not be very powerful at startup, but once launched
it should last over time. which is the goal.
Pantone and Marathon Shell?
well no it's not too much the duration we are aiming for:
A 'run' lasts only 20 minutes, during which we consume a miserable amount of fuel and after the judges report the amount consumed to the distance that we could have traveled with 1 Liter ...
As for recovering the heat, I don't think there is a way:
the engine is ignited in sequences of 2 to 4 minutes over one revolution, the rest being freewheeling ...
It is therefore caulked to death so as not to (too) cool between 2 relights
As for the energy lost to the exhaust, it is also a misery
For stirling, you need a permanent hot spring right?
and then there should be enough torque to launch the suppository at the start of the run ...

In fact the idea was to launch with a heat engine like
to dress and maintain the movement with a stirling.
That would make 2 engines in all, but we will have the advantage of 2
One for its power, the other for its performance.
The stirling could be powered either by the heat of
the exhaust of the engine when starting, i.e.
by a blowtorch which will provide the necessary heat for the continuation.

One solution: solar stirling but I have a doubt about the negative influence of the parabola on the SCx of the vehicle
