Run on vegetable oil, the Belgian legality?

by the middle » 12/01/10, 13:10

Hello,
Today, I passed the technical control with my car (Belgium)
The inspector discovered a bi-fuel on my engine block
He directly asked for the trunk to be opened, and there, when he saw the inside of the trunk, namely the presence of a secondary fuel tank, he closed it and ran towards a colleague .... (to ask for advice in my opinion)
Short...
I was refused for:
Fixing of filling hole..mouai ....
Fasteners fuel fuel pipes..mouai ...
Exhaust gas (measurement conditioning) ...
Can not be performed in a regulatory manner for failure to comply with the conditions of measurement required

Fuel tank .. "non-regulatory positioning"
In short, I have to dismantle everything ...
In short, rolling in oil with a home montage ... it's not won.
In short, the inspector told me, at least dismantle your secondary tank ...
He did not ask me who is the certified installer of your system ...
He didn't ask me "do you run in oil?"
I purposely went to technical control without disassembling my system.
The result is that the law is not clear in this area in Belgium.
Well, result ... I will dismantle my bi-fuel, and I hope to find an electric car and a wind turbine to recharge my batteries, or ... to fly solar panels from a minister preferably .... : Cheesy: (It's a joke, I respect too much our government, which never profits from the money of honest workers)
Happy New Year, and a lot of happiness to all

While in France I spend my bicarbs at CT with my tail up. The only thing that matters to them is that I am on the original fuel to control the pollution (and again he trusts what I tell him since he is in no way authorized to disassemble anything. to check the fuel). That said my additional tanks and my fuel pipes are still quite "Pro". In general when they open the hood they say "what is an LPG on diesel ???"

The Just Hi!

You do not look for problems by going to the inspection with your bi-fuel system! no?

Do not believe that it will let you convert an unapproved electric fuel car.

You avoid paying taxes by using vegetable oil as fuel, you are not a good citizen. : Shock:

LOL!

It's funny when you're tempted this way, hoping you do not have the guys at the buttock! :?: :?: :?:

Exact ... and that's weird ..
They did not ask me any questions ...
non conforming gear ....
And especially dismantling the tank in the trunk .. : Cheesy:
the controller was embarrassed, embarrassed ...
In Belgium, when you run on gas, it's clear, the standards are strict, obvious ...
In a hurry, it looks like we have to "cheat"
Frankly ... I do not know what to do, what to say ..
those who go cum excise on their ass with oil, are not legion ...
I will go back up my system after the technical control, and I will try to make me chopper by the customs after, to see what happens ...
Afterwards, I send a message to the European Union, to explain my problem :D
the Polish prisoners have been well compensated following their complaint to the European Union..rubis on nail ..

Ok, those who run in oil are "marginal"
But I ask myself the following question,
If I had installed my bi-fuel in Germany by a licensed installer, would I have passed the check?
And in Belgium, there are licensed installers?
Yet, in Belgium, there are approved oil dealers recognized by the state!
But! to have their address, it is necessary to send an email to an organism of the state, which will transmit you their address.
I know it, I've been there ...

Odd ... why do you have to go through an email to get access to the oil sellers?

? Research of industrial type customers
For information:
For use as a fuel, it is best to buy from oil crushers
with quality approval and exemption from excise duty. In case of control, the invoice
certified oil producer serves as proof of the origin and quality of the oil, thus avoiding
any risk of a fine.
It is the same for the oil used for heating.
For use in cogeneration or as an agricultural fuel, the exemption sale authorization
The excise duty is not necessary for the producer as these materials are already exempt from excise duty. It's the customer who
must have this permission.

Do not forget that in our beautiful country, we already benefit from a non-negligible surcharge which is a
"excise compensatory tax"
and that applies - in addition to the annual traffic tax - to diesel vehicles to offset taxes they do not pay because they do not consume enough! : Mrgreen:

I already said about these forums: I am in favor of taxing cyclists and pedestrians for their shameless tax evasion! : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen:

This is the first time I see a controller able to detect a biofuel
I wonder ... if the phenomenon does not begin to develop, and they received instructions ...
