Drilling dirty water

by jb34 » 21/10/09, 23:18

HELLO
I did a drill 2 months ago, 40 METERS deep, water height 30 METERS
Three days ago, I installed the pump about 38 METERS deep and each time I pump I have SALE water coming out.
How come SALE is, and what is the solution for getting clean water.
Is the pump too low
Thank you for your reply .

In a borehole it is often necessary to "wash" the aquifer of fine particles before being able to pump clean water.
How many m3 have you already released?

+1 with Bucheron!

You must wash your well by emptying the maximum amount of water for a new well.

The stone dust must be evacuated and you let the water level rise, but your water will be cloudy for a few days while the suspended particles settle.

You must chlorinate twice a year in the spring and in the fall with clhore a desive to kill the bacteria in the whole system and preferably install a carbon filter on the water line which you replace twice a year after having chlorine.

As the lumberjack says, you have to pump 120 m3 for a long time, it's not huge, you have to insist and compare before and after to see if there is improvement. Maybe it was not necessary to pump so deep especially if you have 30 meters of water.
