Toutafé, and to drive the point home a little more: my 1 VFR 750, 1994 hp, 94 kg empty, consumes 250 to 5L / 5.5 ... on country roads and 100 in the mountains in Arsouilles ...

So good ... : Cheesy:

:P I was waiting for you to write it ... I was doing a little more with mine (VFR 1990) but I was working shifted schedules, the bypass was clear and I was often in a rush, realizing that there was still the 6th to pass while I was at 190 ... 7.0l / 100km.

Ben between 1990 (VFR RC36) and 1994 (VFR RC36 2) it is not the same engine so not comparable ...

My ex-diversion (51 hp from 1992) less heavy consumption more: 6.0 to 6.5 L approximately ... for much worse performance ...

Maybe the Cx? : Mrgreen:

In any case, the VFR keeps it! :) It hardly has aged nivo "look" (other motorcycles from 1994 can not say the same, I'm not even talking about cars ...)

Do you still have yours?

No, they are the same, they were the first models with single-sided arms, like yours. I no longer have it and it is better. But what was it that I was sad to sell it.
: Cry:
A red with light gray saddle and white rims. I bought it from a guy at Dassault who had polished the frame, the footrests and the MIG aluminum pot and in the high position ... A JEWEL.

No, no they are NOT the same models. I am sure of it.
1994 is the 1st year of the RC36 2 which lasted until 1997.

In 1998, it is the RC46 model and the passage in 800 and injection ...

Everything is here: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_VFR

Funny I must have really come across a "pearl":

VFR 750 models are fitted with a V-4 cylinder engine whose camshafts are driven by a cascade of gears. The gearbox has 6 gears. For the anecdote, these models have the defect of uneconomical consumption with an average of 8 liters per 100 km in smooth driving.

You had the RC36 1: http://www.vfr-cdf.com/index.php?file=P ... oire_du_V4

There are a lot of differences between the 2 I know more exactly which I believe the consumption precisely ... but the engine base must be identical I think ...

Ah, indeed mine was an RC36 1, the most beautiful from my point of view ... : Cheesy:

I thought you were referring to the version before the single-sided arm (RC24 II).
I also rode with it and found it to be much more sporty, lighter and more manoeuvrable. It was equipped with an anti-diving braking system which had amazed me by its efficiency.

Christophe
When is a 125 dci oil-fired at 2.5L / 100?

Why claim a 125 when for the same consumption you can have a real motorcycle?

It is not false!

But I was mainly thinking of "B permits" ...
