Radio reception amplifier for gate

by the daddy » 23/05/09, 07:48

Hello everybody
Who could help me?
I have a gate automation, "V2" type control unit and I would like to amplify the reception because there is a problem with opening less than 5 m.
Thank you for answering or directing me.

Hello
because opening problem within 5 m

I don't understand well I think you mean more than 5 m

otherwise extend the receiving antenna with a simple electric wire.
I went from 10 to 30 meters by extending my antenna (elec wire) by 1 m (30 cm from origin)

5 mc is abnormal check that the original antenna is not disconnected

also change the battery of your transmitter if it is worn it considerably reduces the range.

Hello,

An old adage: so much is the antenna, so much is the station!
So check the antenna, its connection, its isolation! Check if it is the original unmodified one! Check his clearance!
If it is incorporated into the receiver, free it from the surrounding masses which may disturb it (no receiver hidden in the pillar)

Then if this does not give anything, check that the receiver has not become an ant nest (already seen !!!!)
Also check the batteries and their good condition!
