So I thought of the tightness of:
a) oil pan
b) air intake
An oil pan is, I think, not made to withstand pressure bars ...
This problem did not arise like that because the planes were transported in a sealed hangar. To drop its planes, the submarine surfaced, the watertight door was opened and the planes were catapulted after having unfolded the wings.
